Use mouthwash to clean the toilet bowl.
Pour a quarter cup of your favorite blue mouthwash into the toilet and let it sit for 30 to 45 minutes then scrub and flush. All done.
Use a lemon to remove water spots.
It’s surprisingly simple and cheap to get rid of water spots. Rub a cut lemon over your spotted chrome fixtures and those bothersome spots should disappear instantly. All done.
Put your toothbrush holder in your dishwasher.
Holder, not toothbrush! Toothbrush holders can get disgusting. To get yours completely clean all you have to do is throw it in the dishwasher. All done.
Use nail polish to prevent rust.
Any metal cans that sit on your counter or inside your shower have a tendency to rust. To prevent rust, just paint a couple of coats of clear nail polish around the metal rims and voila! Problem solved.
Soak your shower head.
To remove hard water residue and bring new life to your shower head, just remove the head and let soak in a bowl or plastic bag full of vinegar for a few hours. All done.
Use Rain-X.
Rain-X is meant to keep windshields clear during heavy storms but it works surprisingly well on your glass shower doors to prevent water droplets from drying on the glass.
